USA forward, Christian Pulisic has come out to say that he wants Pochettino to change the team’s culture. He recently had his say after USMNT extended its home winless streak to four, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, the results have definitely been difficult for the country in recent times, but he hopes Poch will build a team that is willing to fight and take risks in the future.
Pulisic added that there is a lot of things that need to change with the US national team.
His words, “Obviously difficult results for us, and it’s not a great feeling. But I think moving forward, it’s time to turn a page and we really have to pick it up a level – I mean everyone that’s a part of this. It feels pretty low right now but I know there’s better times ahead.
Hopefully a culture that is willing to fight, that is willing to take risks, you know, win. There’s a lot of things that need to change, just the mentality and the culture of the group. I think we have the quality, but hopefully that’s the first thing he’s going to want to change.”
