20 Year Old Localization Company, Jonckers, Announces the Appointment of David Ashton as the New Vice President of Client Solutions
Brussels, Belgium, March 27, 2014 –(PR.com)– Jonckers is pleased to announce the appointment of David Ashton as the new company Vice President of Client Solutions. Ashton will be charged with the task of leading a consultative selling organization and creating innovative service and technology solutions for clients. Jonckers, a prominent leader in the Localization industry, provides customized linguistic, cultural, and technical translation and localization solutions to companies seeking to expand into global markets. The company is celebrating its 20th birthday in 2014.
Ashton comes to Jonckers with extensive expertise in both the Localization and Software industries. He is an alumni of Vignette (acquired by OpenText), Surgient (acquired by Quest) and OpenPages (acquired by IBM). In 2006 he joined SDL, developing enterprise solutions for clients that combined SDL’s service capability with the tools and software. In 2011 Ashton was tasked with creating the SDL’s Global Business Consulting group in order to provide comprehensive management and business consulting capabilities to SDL’s global client base. Prior to this Ashton ran his own company, Software Workshop.
