American President, Donald Trump has come out to say that there is systemic racism in US policing.
Trump recently revealed that he does not believe police violence is a systemic issue since the police has done an incredible job despite its few bad apples.
According to him, these officers are under immense pressure and most of them do not cope in such a situation.
He added that he can actually endorse a lot of policemen he has met because they are good people.
His words, “I don’t believe police violence is a systemic issue. I think the police do an incredible job and I think you do have some bad apples.”
“You do have the other situation, too, where they’re under tremendous pressure and they don’t handle it well. They call it choking and it happens.”
“No, but I don’t believe that at all,”
“I’ve met so many police. I have the endorsement of like, so many, maybe everybody.”
