President Bola Tinubu has removed Mamman Ahmadu from his position as the Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP).
Presidential Spokesman Ajuri Ngelale announced the decision in a statement issued on Saturday.
“This is part of a larger reorganization effort in the public procurement system to reposition the agency for greater efficiency and transparency,” the statement read.

The statement also directed Ahmadu to hand over to the most senior officer in the Bureau until a new Director-General is appointed.
President Tinubu expressed his appreciation for Ahmadu’s services and wished him success in his future endeavors.
