Dele Momodu, a top official in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has criticised President Bola Tinubu’s cabinet.
Momodu claimed that Tinubu’s cabinet picks were even less qualified than those of former president Muhammadu Buhari.
This came as he revealed that, contrary to previous information, not all of Tinubu’s ministers are well-known.

In the most recent episode of a Podcast called Mic On, he made this revelation.
Momodu said that Nasir El-Rufai, the former governor of Kaduna State, was a “true original” when he served as a minister for the PDP.
Momodu claims that any leader can effectively govern provided he surrounds himself with competent advisors and pays attention to their counsel. It’s like a news reporter who never gets corrected—inevitably, he’ll report false information.
A leader’s success hinges on the quality of his or her team, and from what I can tell, Buhari’s team is worse than what we have presently.
I had imagined a cabinet filled with A-listers, and I have fond recollections of Ibrahim Babangida’s administration.
We still talk about them, but I don’t recognise most of the new appointees. I recall Akinyele, Bolaji Akinyemi, Bolasodun Ajibola, Tai Solarin, and Wole Soyinka serving under Babangida.
You can’t say that now since someone is coming to filter you out and have you removed; that would be shameful and show that you didn’t do your homework before making appointments.
“Original El-Rufai was a minister under PDP in the days of Okonjo-Iweala, Ezekwesili, and Nubu Ribadu.”
