PSG midfielder Warren Zaïre-Emery has said that he and his teammates are expecting another crazy match against Bayern Munich. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
Admitting that the game was one of the best UCL matches ever, he stated that Paris Saint-Germain players have shown that they live for such types of clashes.
Emery added that the objective remains clear and the aim is to reach a second UCL final in 2 years.
His words, “Frankly, on the field, we too [thought] it was a crazy match.
We play football for these kinds of matches and I think that what we showed was one of the most beautiful matches in the Champions League.
The intensity that there was, the commitment, the goals. It was just exceptional.
And frankly, we expect the same thing, the same match, and even more. We are ready, we have a clear objective and we will try to get to the final.”
Enrique added, “It will be a very high level match between two of the best teams in Europe.
I can’t say that it’s going to be different from what we saw in the first match. I think that neither team accepts that the other team is better. It means that this match could be better again.
We try to win every match. Against Bayern, we don’t need to change anything because our objective is to try to win the match.
It’s time to give even more to get to the final. It’s important in this type of match for us to show why we are here and try to be the most faithful to who we are as a team.”
