Christian Pulisic is thriving at AC Milan because the style of football in Serie A suits him better, Ruud Gullit has said. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, Pulisic was just not cut out for the high-tempo competition in the EPL, so he expects him to keep thriving in a more tactical and technical league like the Serie A.

Ruud added that what the American has achieved in Italy this season is commendable because Serie A defenders are not easy to beat.
His words, “The Premier League is a high-tempo competition. The build-up for a lot of Italian teams is a little bit slower, it’s more tactical, more on technique and things like that. It’s hard, plus the Italian defenders are not easy to beat. The style of play suits [Pulisic] better… Maybe he has found a way to play his game. Maybe he is enjoying it at the moment.”
“A key man for the USMNT has come into a team that is also struggling. It’s easy to win but to remain at the top is tough and that is the same thing with Milan – it’s hard.”
