Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has explained why Manchester United has been unable to sign Iliman Ndiaye this summer. He recently revealed that a move for the Senegal international is currently at a standstill, and fans have been reacting.
Detailing why a potential deal is frozen at the moment, Fabrizio disclosed that MUFC are unable to progress with a formal bid due to the ongoing uncertainty surrounding Rashford’s future at the club.
The Italian added that MUFC‘s status in the squad remains the determining factor for any new arrivals in the wide positions.
His words, “Another player appreciated by Man Utd is Iliman Ndiaye at Everton. He is another player they like, but they are not progressing because of the Rashford situation.
It’s important to remember that Ndiaye would be really expensive. He’s a really important player, for Everton he’s a crucial, crucial player.”
