France manager, Didier Deschamps has come out to explain why Kylian Mbappe was left out of the France squad. This is coming amid talk of pressure from Real Madrid, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, Mbappe was not even fully fit for Madrid’s last game against Villarreal, so the decision to drop him from the France squad was solely his.

Deschamps added that playing footballers who are not fully fit ends up having a repercussion that can be prevented.
His words, “Mbappe was not fit against Villarreal. There was no request. The decision is mine. He played the Villarreal game without being 100 per cent fit. Is this good for the player and for the French team? I don’t think so. It is not the federations who pay the players. It is not just the case of Real Madrid and Kylian.”
