Real Madrid should sign Sporting’s Viktor Gyokeres as soon as possible, Jamie O’Hara has said. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, due to Kylian Mbappe‘s poor form, Gyokeres is definitely the kind of centre-forward needed at the Santiago Bernabeu at the moment, so they should go for him.
Jamie added that Gyokeres plays like Erling Haaland, and he would shine at any European club right now.
His words, “Any club in the world would take Viktor Gyokeres right now. He might end up at Real Madrid – they really need a centre-forward at the moment. They’ve signed Kylian Mbappe from PSG and he’s just not doing the business for them up front. They’ve fallen off a lot this season.
I think Gyokeres plays like Erling Haaland. He’s strong, physical, athletic and knows where the net is. He’s got no fear in taking in defenders 1v1 – I like him a lot. He could go anywhere in Europe with the goals he’s scoring at the moment.”
On MUFC, “You look at Ruben Amorim going to Manchester United and think whether they could sign him or not, but they’ve got Rasmus Højlund up front. Højlund needs to improve though or else they may look to bring him in too! He’ll be on everyone’s radar, though. I can’t believe Brighton got rid of him for a million quid – everyone talks about them getting it right all the time with their recruitment, but they got that one wrong! He’s top drawer – fair play to the lad.”
WOW.
Real Madrid Club de Fútbol, commonly referred to as Real Madrid, is a Spanish professional football club based in Madrid. The club competes in La Liga, the top tier of Spanish football.
Real Madrid has maintained the white shirt for its home kit throughout the history of the club. There was, however, one season that the shirt and shorts were not both white. It was an initiative undertaken by Juan Padrós in honor of an English team Corinthian F.C., which he had met on one of his trips, one of the most famous teams at the time known for its elegance and sportsmanship.
It was under Florentino Pérez’s first presidency (2000–2006) that Real Madrid started its ambition of becoming the world’s richest professional football club. The club ceded part of its training grounds to the city of Madrid in 2001, and sold the rest to four corporations: Repsol YPF, Mutua Automovilística de Madrid, Sacyr Vallehermoso and OHL.
Hala Madrid is a magazine published quarterly for the Real Madrid club members and the Madridistas Fan Club card holders. The phrase Hala Madrid, meaning “Forward Madrid” or “Go Madrid”, is also the title of the club’s official anthem, which is often sung by the Madridistas (the club’s fans).
