France captain, Kylian Mbappe has made Real Madrid worse, Dietmar Hamann has said. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he does not think Mbappe has improved the Spanish champions one bit, and Bellingham is the one suffering the most since his arrival.
Dietmar added that he doesn’t see Real Madrid defending the La Liga title now that the Frenchman has joined.
His words, “It’s a good time to play Madrid. I don’t think Mbappe has improved them. I think they’ve got too many stars, or too many players who want to shine, and not enough players who make others better. Somebody’s got to do the work.
The player who’s probably suffered the most after the arrival of Mbappe is [Jude] Bellingham. He scored a hatful of goals before Christmas last season. He played pretty much as a centre forward because they didn’t have one, and now he’s got to do some dirty work, because you can’t have four players not defending – three is probably too much.
Mbappe and Vini don’t do it, Rodrygo sometimes does. It can’t function. You can’t defend with six or seven players. It’s impossible. You might beat teams in La Liga, but you won’t beat the best teams in Europe.
Obviously, they’ve got great individual quality, but I think there’s a lot of question marks about the team. I don’t see them defending the title.”
WOW.
Real Madrid Club de Fútbol, commonly referred to as Real Madrid, is a Spanish professional football club based in Madrid. The club competes in La Liga, the top tier of Spanish football.
Real Madrid has maintained the white shirt for its home kit throughout the history of the club. There was, however, one season that the shirt and shorts were not both white. It was an initiative undertaken by Juan Padrós in honor of an English team Corinthian F.C., which he had met on one of his trips, one of the most famous teams at the time known for its elegance and sportsmanship.
It was under Florentino Pérez’s first presidency (2000–2006) that Real Madrid started its ambition of becoming the world’s richest professional football club. The club ceded part of its training grounds to the city of Madrid in 2001, and sold the rest to four corporations: Repsol YPF, Mutua Automovilística de Madrid, Sacyr Vallehermoso and OHL.
Hala Madrid is a magazine published quarterly for the Real Madrid club members and the Madridistas Fan Club card holders. The phrase Hala Madrid, meaning “Forward Madrid” or “Go Madrid”, is also the title of the club’s official anthem, which is often sung by the Madridistas (the club’s fans).
