As the First Lady of the Republic of Nigeria, H.E Remi Tinubu celebrates her 63rd birthday, President Bola Tinubu writes her an an open love letter.
It reads in full:
“Oluremi, the woman I love more than life itself, today you turn 63.

My rock in tough times and the one who has brightened my days with love and laughter for the past 36 incredible years.
As you celebrate another year of living a meaningful life, may today also serve as a poignant reminder of the path we’ve traveled together.
We’ve both felt the anxiety of taking risky, yet principled, stances against tyranny throughout the years. I know that not everyone can understand or respect the efforts you made on our behalf during that terrible time, but I will never forget them.
We have lived through exciting times filled with love and humor. We have shared in the joy of victory and the agony of failure, bound together inseparably through it all.
We’ve stuck together through thick and thin, and our love for and dedication to one other have only gotten stronger.
You have been a ray of light in my life, and I appreciate you for that.
You never cease to astound me with your generosity, intelligence, and inner and outer beauty.
I hope you know how thankful I am for your calm presence in my life on this, your birthday.
As we continue along this road, which I believe God Himself set before us, I pray that it is filled with even more laughter and love.
We pray that the God you adore would continue to shower his favor upon you, both in terms of health and life.
Iyawo Mi, have a wonderful birthday!
With all my love, Bola” he concluded.
