Cossy Orjiakor has laid her father to rest in grand style as she gave him a befitting burial.
Photos from the burial were released on Instagram by Uche Elendu who is also a colleague to Cossy Orjiakor.
The actress went on to caption the photos with a quote where she praised Cossy Orjiakor for giving her father a befitting burial.
“Rest in the bossom of our lord papa cossy @cossyorjiakor .. I’m glad I was able to make it to commiserate with u and ur family on the death of your beloved father. He has gone to be with the lord and was given a befitting funeral. Well done girl @cossyojiakor . God be with your family at this time and always,” she wrote.
It would be recalled that Cossy Orjiakor announced the passing away of her father Chief Orjiakor (aka Ukwa achi n’aka) in January 2018. She took to her Instagram page where she announced the sad news.
“Dad… Its so surreal….but.. Its OK. God knows best.. Don’t even know how to start.. Got news about you this morning. Your phone been off. Can it be true Dad… I know you have been so stressed of late. How can you start building another house at this age. When I heard your good friend . my God father Mr Ezeukwu died. I tried calling you but your phone is switched off. Pls call me now dad. Am well now. You always called to ask me if I have started sitting down after the operation . yes dad am sitting down sweets. You wanted to spend Christmas’s in the playgirl mansion.. But… I traveled out… Am so sorry dad.. Pls call me,” she wrote.
Cossy Orjiakor joins the list of celebrities who have buried their fathers in 2018. We recall that Nollywood actress, Toyin Aimakhu buried her father back in March 2018 amid tears. Siblings, family members, and friends of the actress gathered at Ibadan, Oyo state on Thursday, March 1, 2018, for the service of songs in honour of her father who passed away in October 2017 after a brief illness.
