Manchester City player, Kevin De Bruyne has said Rodri is the perfect replacement for Fernandinho in the heart of City’s midfield.
Rodri became the club’s record signing when he made a €70 million (£63m/$79m) move to Etihad Stadium from Atletico Madrid at the start of this month.
He has been backed to be a long-term successor for Fernandinho, who turned 34 in May and has been battling various injuries lately, and KDB agrees.
His words, “I think he is doing really well,”
“Obviously it’s a position that is really difficult to find but I think they definitely found the right man. He has got time enough to settle in and I think he is going to do well.”
Manchester City will battle West Ham on Saturday, August 10 in their first EPL game next season.
