Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has confirmed that Cristian Romero will remain Spurs captain despite the defender’s brutal assessment of the club’s transfer policy. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, even though he would not have made the same public comments as the Argentine defender, he has also made lots of mistakes as Tottenham coach.

Frank added that the matter is now resolved internally, so Romero will retain his position as captain.
His words, “I wouldn’t have done it. That is my message.
Leadership is many things. I’m 52 years old. I think I’m pretty good at leadership. Can I get better every single day? Yes. Do I make mistakes? Maybe not every single day, but probably weekly.
Romero is 27-years-old. Is he still going to make mistakes going forward as a leader, does he do a lot of good things? Yes.”
WOW.
