Cristiano Ronaldo can play on deep into his 40s due to his incredible physique, Teddy Sheringham has said. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, even if it will be harder to recover from knocks and minor injuries at 40, Ronaldo has an unbelievable body that he looks after very well.
Teddy added that CR7 looks after himself better than many other football players with active careers.
His words, “Can Cristiano Ronaldo play deep into his 40s? That depends. At that age, it gets harder to recover from knocks and minor injuries. He has an unbelievable body and looks after it a million times better than players did in my day. If anyone is going to play into his mid-40s then it’s him because of how he has looked after himself.”
