Enzo Fernandez has come out to hail manager Liam Rosenior’s impact since he became Chelsea manager. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, things haven’t really changed much since Maresca’s sacking, and Rosenior has just focused on raising the level of play and boosting the confidence of the players.

Fernandez added that there was already a foundation with the previous manager, but Liam has done well to give the players more freedom to express themselves.
His words, “Maresca gave us an identity, he was good for all of us.
With the arrival of the new coach [Rosenior] there were changes, he gave each of us a lot of confidence and we’re doing well. Things haven’t changed much, he just works differently and we feel very good about achieving results and raising the level of play.
The game plan didn’t change that much. Liam gives us a bit more freedom in the final third, but we already had a foundation with Maresca. In the final meters, he gives us the freedom to express ourselves.
On a personal level, I feel great, I’m happy. I felt I grew both athletically and personally, and as the years go by, I feel much better. It’s a combination of things; feeling good off the field has an impact on the pitch.”
WOW.
Chelsea Football Club is an English professional football club based in Fulham, West London. Founded in 1905, they play their home games at Stamford Bridge.
The club competes in the Premier League, the top division of English football. They won their first major honour, the League championship, in 1955. The club won the FA Cup for the first time in 1970, their first European honour, the Cup Winners’ Cup, in 1971, and became the third English club to win the Club World Cup in 2022.
On 7 May 2022, Chelsea confirmed that terms have been agreed for a new ownership group, led by Todd Boehly, Clearlake Capital, Mark Walter and Hansjörg Wyss, to acquire the club. The group was later known as BlueCo.
The UK government approved the £4.25bn takeover, ending Abramovich’s 19-year ownership of the club. Bruce Buck, who served as chairman since 2003, was replaced by Boehly, while long-serving club director and de facto sporting director Marina Granovskaia left, as did Petr Čech from the role of technical and performance advisor.
