Vice President Namadi Sambo prayed for the nation’s peace, progress and development in Meccah on Tuesday at the Al-Masjid Al-Haram Mosque.

This was made known by the Sambo in a statement by his Senior Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Umar Sanni.

Sambo joined millions of Muslim faithful to perform the lesser Hajj (Umrah) pilgrimage in the Holy Month of Ramadan.

According to the statement, he offered the prayer after the completion of Tawwaf at the Holy Ka’abah (House of the Lord).

“We prayed for our nation’s peace, progress and development.

“We pray to Almighty Allah to remove all the evil that are within us so that the Transformation Agenda of Mr. President will succeed,” he said.
