Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca has refused to clarify Jadon Sancho’s future at the club. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he is completely focused on the nine remaining EPL games for Chelsea this season, even though it is clear that Sancho can do better at Stamford Bridge.

Maresca added that Jadon just wants to keep giving his best for the club until the end of the season.
His words, “All the players that are with us, I love all of them, but in this moment it’s the moment to finish well and then it’s not the moment to think about next season. I’m completely focused about nine games, two months to go, I’m completely focused about that. Then what happens in summer, we’ll see. But all the ones that are here, I want them happy to be here.
To be honest, probably you have more news than me in terms of Jadon. For me, Jadon’s situation doesn’t change, he’s exactly the same. For sure, in terms of numbers, he could do better, no doubt, but it’s not just about Jadon, I think we have more players in the same situation. Now, I don’t need to give a Jadon message because I speak with Jadon every day, I had a conversation yesterday with him. He has just to continue to give his best until the end and this is what we want from Jadon.”
WOW.
Chelsea Football Club is an English professional football club based in Fulham, West London. Founded in 1905, they play their home games at Stamford Bridge.
The club competes in the Premier League, the top division of English football. They won their first major honour, the League championship, in 1955. The club won the FA Cup for the first time in 1970, their first European honour, the Cup Winners’ Cup, in 1971, and became the third English club to win the Club World Cup in 2022.
On 7 May 2022, Chelsea confirmed that terms have been agreed for a new ownership group, led by Todd Boehly, Clearlake Capital, Mark Walter and Hansjörg Wyss, to acquire the club. The group was later known as BlueCo.
The UK government approved the £4.25bn takeover, ending Abramovich’s 19-year ownership of the club. Bruce Buck, who served as chairman since 2003, was replaced by Boehly, while long-serving club director and de facto sporting director Marina Granovskaia left, as did Petr Čech from the role of technical and performance advisor.
