Scope Seminar at London Book Fair 2014 to Focus on “Content Discoverability – Emerging Trends & Challenges in Technology Adoption”
Scope’s presentation will explore the different types of metadata to enhance content discoverability in an e-publishing environment, which will in turn drive improved content usage by end-users. The seminar will shed light on the challenges associated with automated solutions for content discoverability and the need for human intelligence to comprehend and interpret the complexities of content and data beyond machine understanding.
Tram Venkatraman, President of Scope, commented, “With assisted-automation solutions being our forte, Scope has explored the limitations of automated semantic enrichment solutions. A comparative study by our internal analysts has validated the significance of descriptive metadata, curated by subject matter experts, in enhancing discoverability, search precision and improved end-user experience. The seminar will explore our findings in detail.”
During the London Book Fair, Scope will demonstrate its content enrichment capabilities for publishers and other information providers. Attendees are invited to visit the Scope stand (Stand # Y615) in Earl Court 2 to discover more about the services offered by the company. Scope representatives will be available to discuss Scope’s unique assisted automation approach that blends the use of appropriate technologies with rich Subject Matter Expertise (SME) to deliver scalable, cost-effective and high-value output.
