Manchester United striker Benjamin Sesko has admitted that Michael Carrick has improved the players’ work rate since he was named interim manager. This comes after he netted a dramatic winner in a five-goal thriller with Fulham, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, Carrick has helped him and his teammates to play with greater freedom while delivering the right level of pressing and limiting the spaces opponents can exploit.

Sesko added that his strike against Fulham was unbelievable because he had always dreamt about doing just that at Old Trafford.
His words, “It’s true, he has said these things many times to the team. That’s exactly what we are doing. But it’s not just that, you can see how much we work hard for each other without the ball and that also contributes to good results in the end. The work rate is definitely different. Everyone is on point and covering their spaces. In the end, that’s what counts.
That was unbelievable. Scoring at home and scoring the winner is unbelievable. I’ve been dreaming about that and dreaming that I can do that. We all know as a team how important these results are. We are on a really great run right now and we are just hoping that we can continue to work hard like that to win games. I’m really happy that I could help the team out. We can continue our streak now.
The aim is to continue like this. We want to focus on our work and what we have to do. We have to work hard like we are and focus in every moment. All of this is going to lead to great results.”
WOW.
Manchester United Football Club, commonly referred to as Man United or simply United, is a professional football club based in Old Trafford, Greater Manchester, England. The club competes in the Premier League, the top division in the English football league system.
Nicknamed the Red Devils, they were founded as Newton Heath LYR Football Club in 1878, but changed their name to Manchester United in 1902. After a spell playing in Clayton, Manchester, the club moved to their current stadium, Old Trafford, in 1910.
Alex Ferguson and his assistant Archie Knox arrived from Aberdeen on the day of Atkinson’s dismissal, and guided the club to an 11th-place finish in the league. Despite a second-place finish in 1987–88, the club was back in 11th place the following season. Reportedly on the verge of being dismissed, Ferguson’s job was saved by victory over Crystal Palace in the 1990 FA Cup final.
The following season, Manchester United claimed their first UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup title. That triumph allowed the club to compete in the European Super Cup for the first time, where United beat European Cup holders Red Star Belgrade 1–0 at Old Trafford. The club appeared in two consecutive League Cup finals in 1991 and 1992 the left and the right, but he’s not got any sense of danger yet, and empties the midfield area too readily.
