Damage to civilian infrastructure in Gaza, made worse by Israel’s siege, was also a cause for concern. This led to concerns about electricity, gasoline, and water shortages.
Some hospitals in Gaza are forced to rely on groundwater because the Palestinian Ministry of Health estimates that 600,000. The ministry also reported that the number of fatalities in Gaza since Saturday has been approaching 1,200.
