The qualified teams for the African Beach Soccer Championship Seychelles 2015 emerged over the weekend following the completion of the qualifying series.
Morocco was the last team to book their place after a 16-1 victory over Djibouti on Sunday at the Ain Diab Beach in Casablanca in a one-off match.
The Moroccans joined Cote d’Ivoire, Egypt, Ghana and Madagascar who confirmed their places earlier. Senegal and Nigeria sealed their spots without kicking a ball following the withdrawal of Mali and Libya respectively to join hosts Seychelles.
The final tournament will be held on 14-19 April 2015 in Seychelles with the finalists qualifying to represent Africa at the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in July in Portugal.
Meanwhile, the draw for the final tournament will be held on Sunday, 5 April 2015 at the CAF Headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.
