It happens to the best of us. It’s late at night, and you’re a couple drinks in when immediately that sudden urge takes over: You just **must** log onto Twitter to rant, gush, subtweet, or profess what will undoubtedly be unrequited love. Basically, you want to spout regrettable things for as long your thumbs will allow it.
.
please no one talk to me because i’ve had too much to drink at such an early hour and i’m afraid of what i will sayg

Believe it or not, Adele is human and has done this before. And she’s gotten into a little trouble because of it. During a fan Q&A that will air as part of her upcoming BBC special, the UK powerhouse revealed that her drunk tweeting cost her her Twitter access.
.
Indeed, Adele — a grown woman — is not allowed to post her own 144-characte r 140-character thoughts (I’m inebriated, clearly).
.
“I’m not a drinker anymore, but when Twitter first came out, I was like, ‘You’re drunk tweeting,’ and nearly put my foot in it quite a few times,” she explained. “So my management decided, ‘You have to go through, like, two people, and it has to be signed off by someone.’”
.
The full concert special, Adele at the BBC, airs November 20th on BBC One. The pop singer has a number of US TV performances lined up behind new album 25, including Saturday Night Live on November 21st and an NBC special scheduled for
December 14th.
