Snubbing Chelsea For PSG Was The Right Decision – Ugarte

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder, Manuel Ugarte has come out to say that his decision to join the French champions over Chelsea was 100 percent the correct one. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, he is very convinced that he did the right thing by snubbing Chelsea in the summer, because the opportunity to play for PSG was too incredible to turn down.

Ugarte added that he is enjoying the experience that comes with being a PSG player, and he cannot wait for the team to achieve its objectives of the season.

His words, “I am 100% convinced that coming here was the best choice. PSG, for me, is something incredible. Sometimes I find it hard to believe that I am here because before coming I did not imagine the scale of this club, its worldwide fame, its supporters… I am enjoying this incredible experience enormously, while focusing on achieving of our objectives.”

The UK government approved the £4.25bn takeover, ending Abramovich’s 19-year ownership of the club. Bruce Buck, who served as chairman since 2003, was replaced by Boehly, while long-serving club director and de facto sporting director Marina Granovskaia left, as did Petr Čech from the role of technical and performance advisor.
