INEC began the announcement of the results of Saturday’s presidential election yesterday, and as now, result in 10 states and the Federal Capital Territory are now known.
The states that have had their results read out are Ondo, Ekiti, Gombe, Kwara, Kogi, Yobe, Abia, Osun, Nasarawa, Ebonyi, Enugu and the Federal Capital Territory.
APC’s President Muhammadu Buhari emerged winner in Ekiti, Nasarawa, Yobe, Kwara, Kogi and Gombe, while his main opposition, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, was victorious in Ondo, Abia, Ebonyi and the FCT.
However, some announced outcomes by collation officers in states which the national coalition centre in Abuja are yet to receive reveal that President Buhari is in massive lead.
Those states the incumbent president is leading in include Bauchi, Lagos, Ogun and Sokoto, Jigawa, Kaduna while Atiku is the winner in Adamawa and Plateau states.
