    Sokoto State Ministry Of Health Defends 2021 Health Budget

    The Sokoto State Ministry of Health has following the presentation of it’s 2021 budget before the Sokoto State House of assembly defended it’s budget before the house.

    The Commissioner of Health Dr. Muhammad Ali Inname alongside the Permanent secretary of the health ministry in the state, Abubakar Muhammad Mni and chief Executives of the ministry went to defend the 2021 budget before the state house of assembly.

    It was earlier recalled that the Sokoto State Governor Hon. Aminu Tambuwal had earlier presented a budget of #176 Billion for 2021 and the health sector is to get #17Billion which is 17% of the total budget.

    During the budget defence questions were raised by members of the house of assembly and the questions were duly answered by the appropriate Agency.

    Finally the Chairman Committee on Health at the house, Honourable Ibrahim Sarki and his team noteded that they were satisfied with the budget and pledged to give the Ministry their total support.
