Yoruba nation activist, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Igboho, has called on President Bola Tinubu to order the release of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
In a video released on Monday, Igboho appealed to the Tinubu-led Federal Government to drop the treasonable charges against Kanu, citing his failing health as a reason for urgent action.
Igboho emphasized that Kanu, like himself, is an agitator fighting for the interests of his people, stating, “This guy did not do anything.” He urged the government to release Kanu so he can be with his family.

The activist stressed the need to stop playing politics with Kanu’s situation, highlighting the date as February 26, 2024, in his plea for Kanu’s release.
He reiterated his support for Kanu’s cause, likening it to his own fight for the Yoruba people’s rights in Southwest Nigeria.
“Release him, let him go and stay with his family. This guy is just fighting for his people in the South East like me that I am fighting for my people in Yorubaland, release him, let him go.
Release Kanu. Please release him,” Igboho pleaded.
