Super Falcons coach, Randy Waldrum has come out to hail Nigeria’s performance against the United States of America despite defeat. He recently revealed that the girls definitely put up an impressive shift against Vlatko Andonovski’s women.

According to him, he is very proud of his players‘ performance since they had to defend more because of the quality of the opposition.
He added that the professionalism the ladies showed in such a big game is admirable and he expects them to keep improving.
His words, “I am proud of that performance, we obviously had to defend more because we were playing against the United States of America.”
“They are a few weeks away from the Olympics and they are in top form, while our team is just beginning.”
“However, the professionalism of these players throughout the entire tournament is something that I am extremely proud of.”
“Being a good player does not automatically translate into becoming a very good coach,”
“However, they pick things from their experience and when you play in Europe for example, you work with knowledgeable managers.”
“This can be translated in seeing great players become a sound good coach. I believe that Yaya will be one of such.”
“The most important thing for him is to understand playing is quite different from coaching.”
“So, he needs to take himself off the game and focus on the players he wants to develop, be patient with them and see them grow especially around the four pillars of football.”
