Jurgen Klopp has said that Liverpool had to work very hard for their “perfect result” in the 5-0 win over Swansea City on Tuesday evening.
“We had, even in a not really good first half, enough chances to score two or three goals. That should be enough. I was not disappointed at half-time,” Klopp told a news conference.
“We did better in the second half. After the game, you look and it’s 5-0 and you think: ‘Wow, 5-0. Easy game.’.
“It wasn’t an easy game. It wasn’t an easy game and I have no problem with that. Absolutely not. I’m really happy about about the things we learned from the game.
“It’s a perfect result for us. Nobody injured as far as I know and a very important three points, five goals, clean sheet. It’s all good.”
