Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp has come out to hint that Taiwo Awoniyi was not suitable for the club and that is why he was let go. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, the Nigerian striker was simply deemed not good enough to play for Liverpool, and that was why he was eventually released from the club after a few years.
Klopp, however, added that Awoniyi has had sensational development since that decision, and he is happy with his progress.
His words, “He had a sensational development. He has arrived where he belongs and I am happy for him, but not [Saturday] so much.”
