Genevieve Nnaji was recently under fire by fans for showing solidarity for the terrorist attack in Nice, France.
Genevieve who put up an image in solidarity with France writing, “Father into thy hands I commend their spirit #prayforparis #prayforjustice,” was criticized for ignoring the killings in Benue and Nigeria in general and praying for a foreign country.
The actress in a post shared on her Instagram page today, July 15, 2016 has replied those criticizing her. “The idea is not to limit love and compassion but to limit anger and hate. What you let out in the Universe is what spreads. Everyone has a platform to effect change so pay good attention to what you do with yours. WE ARE THE WORLD therefore #changeisinourhands . The sooner we accept it the better,” she wrote.
84 people were killed yesterday night, July 14, 2016 when a large truck plowed through a Bastille Day crowd in Nice, France.
The attack, which came eight months and a day after Islamic State gunmen and suicide bombers killed 130 people in Paris, appeared so far to be the work of a lone assailant.
At least 10 children are among the dead following the terrorist strike. Officials fear the death toll will rise.
Last month Genevieve Nnaji shaded Instagram comedian Klintoncod for insulting black women.
