Cameroon legend, Samuel Eto’o has come out to bash South African Football Association president, Danny Jordaan for failing to accelerate Bafana Bafana’s progress in Africa. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he is very baffled as to why Bafana Bafana have constantly underperformed at the AFCON despite the country’s South African league being so organized.
Eto’o added that the football officials in the nation need to sit down and plan how to take Bafana Bafana to the next level.
His words, “I am baffled as to why Bafana Bafana have constantly underperformed at the Africa Cup of Nations. The South African league (PSL) is well organised and one of the best in Africa so I do not understand why the national team is not that good.
Football officials need to sit down and plan how to take Bafana to another level and make it the best national team in Africa. Given the strength of the national league, that is possible.”
