Popular Gospel singer Moses Bliss has paid a heartfelt tribute to the late Segun Awolowo. He recently had his say after receiving a video of him singing along to his hit song, “Too Faithful.”
Reacting via his Instagram page, Moses revealed that watching the deceased sing his song in the viral clip broke him completely.

According to him, despite meeting Segun Awolowo in person only once, the warmth and genuine appreciation he felt from him was unforgettable.
Describing his love for worship as pure, the singer prayed for the soul of the deceased to rest in perfect peace.
“I just received this video of Uncle Segun Awolowo, who has now transitioned to glory, and it truly broke me. Though I only met him once and our other interactions were over the phone, the love, warmth, light, and genuine appreciation he carried were unmistakable. His heartfelt testimony about how deeply he cherished my music encouraged me more than he ever knew.
His love for worship and for the presence of God was radiant and pure. Thank you sir for loving Jesus so deeply, and thank you for a life and legacy that will continue to shine. Rest well sir,” he wrote.
Segun Awolowo, the grandson of Nigerian statesman Obafemi Awolowo, died at 62, with his family describing him as the world’s most phenomenal husband, father and grandfather and a painfully loyal servant to Nigeria.
Professionally, Segun served as Executive Director and CEO of the Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) from 2013 to 2021 and was elected President of the National Trade Promotion Organisations (TPOs) representing ECOWAS member states.
He also held positions as Special Assistant to former presidents and Secretary for Social Development and Transport.
