Thiago Silva’s wife, Isabelle was wrong to criticize Mauricio Pochettino online, Emmanuel Petit has said. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he completely disagrees with family members of players feeling they have the right to criticize managers or footballers on social media, and the fact that she did same with Tuchel makes it unacceptable.

Petit added that everyone should have freedom online, but people should be careful with what they type.
His words, “This is exactly what happens in modern football. It could be his wife, his brother or someone close to the family. I totally disagree with it. It wasn’t the first time his wife has spoken out and, to be honest, I was unhappy when I saw what she said because it was not the first time.
She did it with (Thomas) Tuchel and with so many other people. Everyone is allowed an opinion but if my wife did it, I would be in trouble in the dressing room with players, staff, management and owners the following day.
I can understand that some fans are happy with what she has done but I’m not happy about it, I’m not happy at all. Again, everyone has the freedom to say what they feel but you have to be very careful, especially when you criticise the boss and take a dig at the manager in the public domain like this. I really, really don’t appreciate it. What she has said doesn’t help anyone.”
WOW.
Chelsea Football Club is an English professional football club based in Fulham, West London. Founded in 1905, they play their home games at Stamford Bridge.
The club competes in the Premier League, the top division of English football. They won their first major honour, the League championship, in 1955. The club won the FA Cup for the first time in 1970, their first European honour, the Cup Winners’ Cup, in 1971, and became the third English club to win the Club World Cup in 2022.
On 7 May 2022, Chelsea confirmed that terms have been agreed for a new ownership group, led by Todd Boehly, Clearlake Capital, Mark Walter and Hansjörg Wyss, to acquire the club. The group was later known as BlueCo.
The UK government approved the £4.25bn takeover, ending Abramovich’s 19-year ownership of the club. Bruce Buck, who served as chairman since 2003, was replaced by Boehly, while long-serving club director and de facto sporting director Marina Granovskaia left, as did Petr Čech from the role of technical and performance advisor.
