On the eve of the United Nations General Assembly gathering, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has agreed to meet with Vice President Joe Biden.
Following a meeting between Tinubu and US Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs, Ambassador Molly Phee, the news was made public on Saturday by Aguri Ngelale, the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity.
Tinubu reaffirmed that private enterprise will flourish in Nigeria under his administration.

He suggested the American government get creative by establishing incentives for American businesses to set up shop in Nigeria.
The private sector will take the lead if we establish the right conditions for them to thrive. The federal government of the United States, however, must be creative in order to establish incentives for U.S. industrial investment in Nigeria. Nigeria, under my administration, is prepared to tackle its unique regulatory, tax, and environmental challenges. He declared, “I will make all families in Nigeria prosperous.”
Phee, for his part, assured the audience that the United States government will work to better incentivize its massive investment in Nigeria.
“Vice President Joe Biden would like to meet with you in New York City on the fringes of the United Nations General Assembly. Phee elaborated, saying, “This shows how much he values your direction of the company.
The 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly is scheduled to begin on September 12, 2023, in New York City, according to Infostride News.
