The Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, has cautioned members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara State against acts of insubordination and disunity within the party.
Matawalle, who is the immediate past governor of the state, gave the warning on Sunday while receiving APC executives from Anka, Bakura, Maradun, and Talata Mafara local government areas.
The delegation had paid him a Sallah homage at his residence in Maradun.

He reminded party members to appreciate the leadership they have in the state, describing the leaders as individuals with the peopleās interest at heart.
The minister also commended former governor Abdulāaziz Yari for his dedication to the development of both the APC and Zamfara State.
āAs I always say, myself, Abdulāaziz Yari, and other APC leaders in the state have been doing our best to improve the welfare of our members and the good people of Zamfara,ā Matawalle said.
āI am using this medium to call on you to continue supporting the party. We should avoid any acts of insubordination to the leadership of our great party. Let us ignore any calls aimed at destroying the unity of the APC in the state,ā he added.
Matawalle assured party members that more employment opportunities were on the way and urged them to remain patient and loyal.
He further called on the people of Zamfara to support President Bola Tinubuās administration, noting that key infrastructural projects, including the Mayanchi-Guru and Gusau-Isah-Sabon Birni highways, are among those slated for execution by the federal government.
