Vice President Kashim Shettima has named Dr. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, the spokesperson for the Northern Elders Forum (NEF), to the position of Special Adviser on Political Issues.
This appointment was made by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Datti Baba-Ahmed, the Labour Party’s vice presidential candidate in the 2023 election, is Dr. Baba-Ahmed’s older brother.
On Monday, Baba-Hmed made the announcement on his verified X account.
To announce his acceptance of the position of Special Adviser (Political) to the VP, he said, “It is time to make it public. You should not be critical now, when your help could be most beneficial in turning the country around.
