Dr. Olasupo Olusi has been appointed by President Bola Tinubu to serve as the Bank of Industry’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.
In the first instance, the appointment will last for four years.
This was announced on Thursday by Ajuri Ngelale, the President’s Special Adviser for Media and Publicity.
Ngelale stated that Tinubu had given his blessing to Olusi’s nomination after the resignation of Mr. Olukayode Pitan as BOI Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.
It has been stated that Olusi has worked with the World Bank as an economist and expert in development finance for the past 20 years.
He’s also been the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy.
