President Bola Tinubu has pledged that the Federal Government will continue to prioritize the needs of the Armed Forces to enable them to fulfill their constitutional roles without hindrance.
Tinubu made the commitment during the trooping and presentation of colours to commemorate the diamond jubilee anniversary of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) in Kaduna State on Saturday.
He emphasized that the Federal Government is aware of the sacrifices made by members of the Nigerian Armed Forces across the country, especially in the face of daunting challenges.

Tinubu reiterated the government’s determination to escalate the fight against insecurity until every part of Nigeria is fully protected.
The President highlighted the NDA’s evolution over the past six decades, noting its various transformations in training the Nigerian Armed Forces.
He mentioned the establishment of Postgraduate Studies, Research Centres, and the Centre of Excellence, which have made the academy a preferred institution for students locally and globally.
Tinubu recalled that in the last three years, over forty projects spanning infrastructure, personnel and cadet welfare, curriculum enhancement, and provision of training equipment had been completed despite resource constraints.
He urged the academy to maintain high standards in academic and military training to attract quality cadets from around the world.
