Former lawmaker, Daniel Bwala, has stated that President Bola Tinubu can effectively govern the country from anywhere in the world, regardless of the location of the Vice President, Kashim Shettima.
Bwala made this assertion in response to concerns about a perceived leadership vacuum at the nation’s seat of power due to Shettima’s visit to the United States of America for the US-Africa Business Summit and Tinubu’s extended stay abroad after attending the Special World Economic Forum meeting.
His statement comes in contrast to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s remarks, who expressed worry over the absence of both Tinubu and Shettima from the country simultaneously, especially amid daunting challenges faced by the nation.

Bwala emphasized that the President can govern from anywhere, stating, “Aso Villa is not a block industry and the President is not a bricklayer.” He cited Section 5 of the Constitution in support of his assertion.
