The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has called President Bola Tinubu’s legal team’s admission that it wrote “Tinubu Presidential Legal Team” (TPLT) on the Certified True Copies (CTC) of the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) verdict now in circulation as “self indicting.”
According to a statement released by PDP’s National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Debo Ologunagba, on Monday, the explanation was nothing more than a last-ditch effort to deflect public attention and prevent more revelations on the subject.
The PDP stated that Tinubu’s legal team’s ‘knee-jerk’ admission that they “scanned and watermarked” their copy of the judgement supports the widely held belief that the All Progressives Congress, APC, manipulated the outcome of the case.

Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) have reportedly received copies of the President Election Petitions Tribunal’s (PEPT) verdict, as reported by DAILY POST.
This happened after the panel upheld President Bola Tinubu’s election.
Atiku and Obi have petitioned the court to overturn Tinubu’s declaration as the winner of the presidential election held on February 25.
However, photos of the Certified True Copies (CTC) of the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) verdict with the words “Tinubu Presidential Legal Team” (TPLT) written on them have been making the rounds online.
Tinubu’s legal team has stated that the markings were merely a “watermark” they placed on their own copies of the court judgment, but the PDP disputes this.
According to the PDP, the vast majority of Nigerians did not buy into the arguments put up by Tinubu’s legal team.
Further study and expert analysis, the opposition party claims, proved that the documents were not scanned and that the TPLT inscriptions were not watermarks but rather the computer default header.
Tinubu’s legal team has been questioned by the PDP, which demands an explanation for how “what is obviously” a default header on its computer system can be considered a watermark.
Certified True Copies of the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) verdict have been circulating, and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has investigated the scandalous inscription of the Header of Tinubu Presidential Legal Team (TPLT) on these copies.
The Tinubu Legal Team’s hasty admission that they “scanned and watermarked” their copy of the ruling with the inscription, “Tinubu Presidential Legal Team ‘TPLT,’ is self-indicting and supports the widely held belief that the APC manipulated the outcome in advance.
The TPLT’s sudden admission that it stamped on the CTC of the judgment smells like a last-ditch effort to deflect public attention and prevent further revelations about the matter.
Parts of the statement stated, “The PDP demands that the Tinubu Legal Team should explains how what obviously is a default header on its computer system should be accepted as a watermark.”
