Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino and forward Son Heung-Min have won the Premier League Manager and Player of the Month of April.
Tottenham in April had a 100 percent record winning their six matches.
Pochettino’s men beat Burnley, Swansea, Watford, Bournemouth, Crystal Palace and Arsenal to keep the pressure on Premier League leaders Chelsea.
This is surprisingly the first Manager of the Month award for the Spurs boss this season.
“It was a fantastic month, six games we scored 16 goals and conceded only one, 18 points and it was fantastic to keep fighting for the Premier League, to put pressure on Chelsea and I think it was a fantastic month for the team,” Poctettino said.
Son was in fantastic form throughout the month, scoring five goals and registering one assist as Tottenham swept everyone in front of them.
He beat teammates Harry Kane (three goals, two assists) and Christian Eriksen (two goals, four assists) to win the award.
“It’s just unbelievable. It’s my second time this season and I’m really thankful for my team-mates and the coaches and so many fans that voted for me and it’s just an unbelievable feeling,” the 24-year-old said.
“I just keep working hard. My aim was to score 10 goals but now there are three games more and I just want to keep scoring more goals, more assists and make more points.”
The Goal of the Month honour went to Chelsea star Pedro for his fantastic left foot drive from outside the box in their 3-0 win over Everton in April.
He beat Dele Alli (Spurs v Watford), Roberto Firmino (Stoke City v Liverpool), Xherdan Shaqiri (Stoke City v Hull City) and Leroy Sane (Southampton v Man City) to win the award.
