Popular Nollywood actress Toyin Aimkahu has just unveiled plans to release her own set of emojis called ‘Teemojis’.
The actress took to Instagram yesterday to make this known to fans and followers.
According to her, her new set of emojis is in the Yoruba language and aims to promote the Yoruba culture.
“The Teemojis would be available for download soon. #Regrann yes my emojis and it’s called Teemojis.
It’s in yoruba,let’s promote our culture and with this I promise I will be able to help alot of my fans,coming soon,u can download it.
Pls support this movement and hope u all are proud of me..we’ve alot of expressions and I promise I pledge with this I will be able to empower a lot of my fans.”
The subscription based Toyin Aimakhu – themed emoji app is a collection of replications of many of Toyin’s unique facial expressions matched with everyday local phrases and parlance in Yoruba Language.
According to her, the emojis would allow users express themselves in more fun and relatable ways.
On July 21, 2016 Toyin Aimakhu spoke about her split with Adeniyi Johnson. “In the end we are both at fault. I held on too tight and he didn’t hold on enough” she wrote on her Instagram page.
