Neymar should’ve stayed at Barcelona, La Liga analyst, Scott Minto has said.
Scott recently revealed that even if the Brazilian has reached the UCL final with PSG, he should have never left Spain.
According to him, both Barcelona and Neymar would be better off today if the 28-year-old remained at Camp Nou.
He added that PSG have their best chance ever to win the European Cup, but it will not justify Neymar’s decision to move to France.
His words, “PSG have their best chance ever to win the European Cup,”
“But would it justify Neymar’s decision to move to PSG? I would still say no.”
“I still think Barcelona would have won more Champions Leagues and he would have won more Champions Leagues had he remained in a front three alongside Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.
“I think that was the best front three in the history of football, so it is a shame he left.”
On Messi, “Messi is the best player in the history of the game but that game showed that one great player can’t beat a great team,”
“Against Bayern, Messi’s team-mates were unable to step up.”
“Lewandowski has 55 goals,”
“and I think you would have to give him all of the individual honours for winning a treble, especially with no international competitions this year.”
