Former Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri has claimed that the match officials were against the Gunners during their heartbreaking Champions League final defeat to Paris Saint-Germain. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
Suggesting that the referee’s second-half performance was a direct response to Arsenal’s game management in the first half, Nasri alleged that the referee clearly turned against Mikel Arteta‘s side after the interval.

Samir, however, admitted that the non-call on Madueke fell into a subjective grey area rather than being a definitive officiating blunder.
His words, “In the second period, the referee systematically whistled against Arsenal. He punished them for their time-wasting in the first half.
If he whistles the Madueke tackle for a penalty, I don’t think VAR would have cancelled it. But the fact that he didn’t whistle is not a scandal either.”
On Enrique, “He will never take an uncalculated risk. Since he found the right formula, everything is controlled. He always has a plan to catch out the opposing coach.
The first time is historic. The second is legendary.”
