Ex BBNaija housemate, Maria Chike has thrown a subtle shade at ignorant Nigerians who are celebrating Christmas the Western way. She recently had her say via her social media page, and Nigerians have been reacting.
According to her, she can only question why Nigerians put boxes and presents under Christmas trees without fully understanding the idea behind it.
Maria added that if only they knew Santa departs the North Pole a day before Christmas to deliver Christmas presents.
Her words, “Why am I seeing gift boxes and present under y’all Christmas trees?? Did you forgot Santa leaves the North Pole on the 24th and down your roof/chimney to drop off the presents? Y’all so funny. Understand the spirit of Christmas, just don’t do it cause others are.”

Big Brother added another twist to the game on day 79 by cancelling the day’s scheduled nominations and making the housemates believe they will instead be evicted based on their performances on assigned tasks while in reality no more evictions were held and viewers began voting for the winner who turned out to be 26-year-old Katung Aduwak.
