Union Bank Customers Win Cash Prizes and Gifts in Ongoing Promo

Union Bank of Nigeria has rewarded hundreds of its loyal customers with cash prizes and other exciting gifts as part of its ongoing “Save and Win Palli Promo 4.” The initiative, which began in December 2024, is aimed at encouraging savings culture among Nigerians while offering them the chance to win life-changing rewards.

In the latest series of monthly draws held across the country, customers from different regions emerged as winners of various prizes, including cash gifts of ₦100,000, fuel vouchers, motorcycles, and tricycles. The draws, which were conducted electronically and monitored by relevant regulatory bodies, ensured fairness and transparency throughout the process.

At the Owerri branch draw, 60 lucky customers walked away with ₦100,000 each, while another 60 received fuel vouchers worth ₦30,000. Three grand prize winners were presented with brand-new tricycles. Union Bank staff, customers, and observers were in attendance to witness the celebrations and prize presentations.

Another draw took place at the Sabo, Yaba branch in Lagos, where six customers won motorcycles, and over 120 others received different cash prizes. The bank reaffirmed that all winners were selected through a transparent digital system, and all customers were contacted directly by the bank without requesting sensitive banking information.

In addition to the physical prizes, a special draw for UnionKorrect account holders saw a total of 452 customers receive over ₦21 million in cash rewards. In this category, winners were selected across different tiers, including ₦25,000, ₦50,000, ₦100,000, ₦500,000, and a grand prize of ₦1 million. Customers from the Exclusive and Regular saving tiers, as well as a special group, received varying amounts based on their savings levels and account activity.

Union Bank officials reiterated that the Save and Win Palli Promo 4 will run until May 2025, with a total prize pool exceeding ₦131 million. To qualify, customers are required to save a minimum of ₦10,000 and perform at least five transactions monthly using any of Union Bank’s digital platforms or branches.

According to the bank, the promo is part of its broader effort to promote financial inclusion, reward customer loyalty, and support responsible financial behavior. The initiative has been praised for its simplicity and inclusiveness, allowing both new and existing customers to participate without complex requirements.

The bank emphasized that the draws will continue monthly, with quarterly draws offering bigger rewards such as motorcycles, tricycles, and fuel vouchers. The promo will culminate in May 2025 with the grand finale, where three customers will win ₦5 million each.
