The Metro is reporting that Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic will be heading out of Old Trafford at the end of the season as his contract looks set to expire.
.
The 32-year-old is out of contract in the summer and is yet to sit down with the board to discuss an extension as talks increase of David Moyes being armed with £200 million to spend and inject youth into an ageing squad.
.
The player’s representative has been indicating that the Serbian’s future at Old Trafford looks uncertain.
.
Vidic’s agent Silvano Martina believes his man is hot property and has alleged that there are three clubs looking for the services of his man.
.
“We will wait until the end of the season to decide what happens. Finding a new team to play for is not a problem.” said Martina.
.
Whilst his agent says there are three clubs interested in the Serbian, it is believed that one of the clubs not in the running is Napoli.
.
The player’s agent has stated that the Italian club managed by former Liverpool and Chelsea boss Rafa Benitez has not made an approach for the defender.
.
With defenders such as Luke Shaw and Leighton Baines being heavily linked with moves to Manchester, as well as the confidence that Moyes has shown in the likes of Chris Smalliing, Phil Jones and Jonny Evans, a move for the Serbian would surprise few.
.
Vidic has played 200 games for the Red Devils since his arrival from Spartak Moscow, and has been key to their successes in recent years. With United in the position that they are in a move away could do the defender good.
.
After Vidic scored for United to keep them in their Capital One Cup tie against Sunderland Moyes rejected that the Champions are looking at Real Madrid’s Fabio Coentrao who almost joined United back in the summer.

If David Moyes don’t sign new defenders then this will be a big blow to Manchester United! A very big one.
