Nasarawa State Government has promisd all persons residing in the state of adequate protection after recent reported cases of civil unrest in parts of the country.
The Deputy Governor of the state, Mr Silas Agara, gave the assurance on behalf of the state government.
Agara said that government was partnering with the various security agencies to safeguard lives and property of the people and to tackle any future bad incident.
He appeled to the people not to panic and to go about their normal businesses without fear or molestation.
The fracas and the perceived reprisal in Jos on Wednesday, led to the imposition of curfew in Aba and Jos by the respective state governments.
